Participant Reflections
Accounts from participants across the Foundations, Practice, and Senior Practicum programmes.
Nattawut Thongchai
Project Manager, Energy Sector · Bangkok
The Foundations programme gave me a working vocabulary I didn't have before. I'd been assigned to change communications for two years without any structured background in the subject. The observation assignment was more useful than I expected — it changed how I read what was happening in my own organisation.

Siraporn Phumiphat
HR Business Partner, Financial Services · Bangkok
The Practice programme was well-structured and the pace felt right. The milestone feedback sessions were the most valuable part — having someone with real experience review your approach mid-project is different from receiving comments at the end when it's too late to act on them. I'd have appreciated slightly more time on the cultural dimensions, though the material that was there was very good.
Practice of Change Management · February 2025
Vorakit Kanchanawong
Transformation Lead, Logistics · Chonburi
I completed both the Practice programme and then the Senior Practicum about eighteen months apart. The Senior Practicum is a genuinely different experience — less structured in a ways that initially felt unfamiliar, but the faculty mentoring made that productive rather than frustrating. The private closing review is worth the cost of the programme on its own.
Senior Change Practicum · January 2025
Kanokwan Leelaporn
Senior Manager, Public Institution · Bangkok
What I appreciated most was the honesty about what the frameworks don't do well. I've been to courses where every model is presented as though it solves the problem in front of you — that's not been my experience in practice. Aksorn's approach is more measured, and I found that refreshing and more useful.

Piyawat Tanawit
Consulting Analyst, Management Consulting · Bangkok
The Foundations course was exactly what I needed at this stage. I'd been pulled into change work earlier than I expected and felt I was navigating without a map. The course gave me a map — not a rigid one, which the faculty were clear about, but something to orient from. The evening format meant I could keep up with my workload throughout.
Foundations Programme · April 2025
Amara Chayakul
Change Director, Manufacturing Group · Rayong
I enrolled in the Senior Practicum while managing a multi-site restructuring. The timing was intentional — I wanted a place to think through what I was doing with people who had seen comparable situations. The action-learning format meant the programme worked alongside the engagement rather than as a distraction from it. That was important to me.

Participant Journeys
Three accounts of how participants engaged with our programmes alongside the situations they were navigating in their organisations.
Foundations Programme
A First Assignment in Change
The Situation
A project manager at a Bangkok utilities firm was asked to lead communication for a digital systems transition. She had no prior change management background and was uncertain about the vocabulary and framing her colleagues were using.
What the Programme Added
Eight weeks of structured evening study alongside her role gave her a framework for diagnosing the transition, a set of communication principles, and — through the workplace observation assignment — an applied understanding of how the change was landing with those affected.
Her Reflection
"I went back to work after the observation week and asked questions I wouldn't have thought to ask before. That shift in how I was listening — that was the main thing I took from it."
Practice Programme
Leading a Merger Integration
The Situation
An HR business partner was asked to lead the people workstream in a merger integration affecting three hundred staff across two Bangkok offices. He had some experience with change communications but had not previously designed a full programme from the stakeholder mapping stage.
What the Programme Added
The twelve-week practitioner programme ran alongside the early phase of the integration. Faculty supervision at three milestones gave him structured feedback on his stakeholder mapping approach and communication architecture while he was still in a position to adjust them.
His Reflection
"Having someone review my stakeholder map at the second milestone and point out the gaps I'd overlooked — that changed the engagement plan significantly. The timing of that feedback mattered."
Senior Practicum
Governing a Multi-Site Restructuring
The Situation
A change director at a regional manufacturing group was overseeing a restructuring that affected operations across five sites and involved significant workforce changes. She was experienced in change work but had not previously managed an engagement at this scale or sensitivity.
What the Programme Added
The action-learning structure meant the programme engaged directly with the restructuring as it unfolded over sixteen weeks. Weekly reflective practice sessions with her faculty mentor created a space to examine both the governance decisions she was making and her own response to the pressures involved.
Her Reflection
"The private closing review gave me an honest account of how I'd handled the engagement — not a celebration of it, but a genuine review. That kind of feedback is hard to find when you're in a senior position."
